Škarline Nature Park / Škarlinski Canyon

Škarline is one of those places many people don't even know exists — a hidden canyon in the interior of Istria that feels like a scene from another world. I'll guide you through a narrow, lush green canyon where the Draga Stream flows, slowly shaping the rocks, waterfalls, and small natural pools over centuries.

The trail leads us through the shade of dense forest, right along the water, across wooden bridges and past small waterfalls that create a special, almost mystical atmosphere.

The canyon itself is relatively short but extremely photogenic and diverse — perfect for anyone who wants to experience wild nature without long and exhausting climbs. Most of the terrain consists of forest and dirt paths, though some sections can be slippery, especially after rain. There are also a few short climbs and stair sections, and near the water you'll occasionally encounter rocky and damp terrain that requires stable footwear and a bit of caution.

This is a tour where we slow down the pace, listen to the sound of water, and notice the details — moss on the rocks, light filtering through the treetops, and small waterfalls forming peaceful natural spots.
