This tour takes us through one of the most impressive natural landscapes of central Istria — the valley of the Pazinčica River. We start at the monumental Pazin Castle, located above the famous Pazinska jama, where the story begins — a mix of history, legends, and the powerful natural forces that shaped this landscape.

We descend into the valley and follow the river through a peaceful green oasis. The trail is varied, with sections of forest paths, dirt trails, rocky segments, and occasionally uneven terrain right by the water. After rainy periods, some sections may be muddy and slippery, which adds an extra sense of adventure to the tour.

Walking along the canyon, surrounded by the quiet and freshness of the riverbed, we eventually reach one of the most famous natural spots near Pazin — Zarečki krov. Here the water flows over a wide rock formation, creating a natural "roof" beneath which you can actually walk.

The view is especially impressive in spring and after heavy rainfall. This tour connects history, geology, and the natural rhythm of the river. The pace is adapted to the group, with breaks for photos and time to simply enjoy the surroundings, which create a feeling of complete isolation even though we're just minutes from town.

Safety Note: The terrain along the river can be slippery, especially after rain or when the water level is higher. Proper footwear is required and participants must follow the guide's instructions at all times. The route may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and safety assessment.
